Amazon has inaugurated a new campus in North Bengaluru, marking its second-largest facility in Asia.
According to the announcement on Monday, the 1.1-million-square-foot development spans 12 floors and has been designed sustainably, featuring “self-sustaining neighborhoods” — dedicated zones equipped with meeting rooms, huddle spaces and breakout areas — as well as a range of employee amenities such as an amphitheater, sports courts and a medical center.
Amazon said the campus is also located near Kempegowda International Airport, enhancing accessibility for domestic and international travel.
A spokesperson for Amazon India said in a statement that the region remains a strategic priority for the company, which has been expanding its presence in the country for over two decades. The new campus becomes Amazon’s 10th corporate office in Karnataka, complementing its network of fulfillment centers, sortation centers and last-mile delivery stations across the region.
