Deloitte India has launched ConnectSafe in Bengaluru, which the company says is the country’s first cybersecurity facility focused on safeguarding critical infrastructure and connected ecosystems.
According to reporting by The Economic Times published on Tuesday, the 4,500-square-foot facility is designed to simulate real cyber threat scenarios across industries, reflecting a shift from traditional data protection toward securing operational technology and human lives by addressing vulnerabilities in increasingly connected systems.
The Economic Times article shows a spokesperson for Deloitte South Asia said the facility’s core capabilities include connected systems security and quantum-safe systems, with the goal of helping future-proof critical infrastructure. It also includes dedicated security operations centers for operational technology and vehicles, enabling organizations to strengthen security controls without disrupting live operations.
