Lantern Pharma, a U.S.-based company working to streamline oncology drug development with the power of AI, announced its plans to open an A.I. Center of Excellence in Bengaluru to industrialize its capabilities on a global scale. Its upcoming center will focus on large-scale data engineering in addition to development and refinement of its machine learning-ready disease models.

The facility will expand Lantern Pharma’s computational capacity and allow it to capitalize on specialized technical talent local to the Indian market. Lantern Pharma will leverage its new space to iterate and deploy advanced AI modules and functionality faster while supporting the growth of its internal therapy pipeline.

Lantern Pharma’s new office positions the company to expand its platform across the oncology sector and into additional categories in the biopharma industry. The Bengaluru center enables Lantern Pharma to integrate its solutions with more biopharma customers and partners, and the company has already begun hiring efforts as part of its expansion plans.
