The Engineer/Senior Engineer ME Automation is responsible for control systems in automotive assembly plants, project management, site execution, hardware and software design, integration of GM Global standards, training suppliers, and Root cause analysis. Knowledge of Rockwell PLC, Siemens HMI, Emulate 3D, Machine Vision, and Robot Programming is essential. The role involves coordination with other GM units for Global projects and approval of robot simulation for efficiency.
