As a Workplace IT Engineer you are part of the IT team that manages the entire IT ecosystem for our 6 offices, globally. In this role you are expected to drive automation, optimization and setup of the complete Microsoft 365 environment for your colleagues around the world. At Plat4mation our IT strategy is centered around a cloud first approach, so most of our applications and services are cloud based. Your work will be focused on workspace solutions, providing direct support for your colleagues as well as design and implementation new solutions within our IT landscape.

Scope of work:

• Resolve internal customer-reported (colleagues) issues while working closely with other multi-functional teams.
• Provide feedback for improving product quality and reliability.
• Document relevant information and ensure that the customer (colleague) is communicated with in a timely manner on a level that they understand.
• Drive operational excellence through quality closures and proper escalation of issues.
• Design, plan and execute changes in the IT environment.
• Help maintain administration required for operating an ISO27001 compliant IT environment.
• Automate IT activities as much as possible when it adds value.

• Bachelors or master’s degree in any field of IT.
• At least 3-6 years of experience working with and in complex Microsoft environments.
• Microsoft Sharepoint development skills is a pre.
• Proficient in at least 2 methods of task automation, ideally through scripting.
• Hands-on expertise in implementing and designing Microsoft 365 environments, including the applications and collaboration platforms such as MS Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook, Azure AD and Azure Services for workplace solutions such as Intune and MCAS.
• Knowledge of data classification and data loss prevention methods within Microsoft 365.
• Self-driven and resourceful to achieve goals independently as well as work well in groups.
• End to end management of solution and customer engagement with minimal to no supervision.
• Quality focused, problem solving, creativity, planning and organizing, flexibility and communication skills are competences that you excel in.
