Job Description
The successful candidate will be part of the Zendesk APAC Accounting Team. He/She will be working closely with local accounting firms to ensure that transactions and processes are in compliance with guidelines and standards.
Key Responsibilities

Preparation of Zendesk Japan and Korea month-end journal entries and account reconciliations for period end closing

Preparation of Zendesk Japan and Korea fluctuation analyses and perform financial statement analytics, providing relevant explanations for fluctuations

Coordinating bi-weekly payments for Zendesk Japan

Prepare monthly cash funding reporting for Zendesk Japan and Korea

Preparation of Zendesk India Treasury documentation to ensure compliance with the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA)

Assist in the preparation of VAT filing and other tax filings

Support Statutory Audit and Corporate Tax Reporting

Handle ad hoc projects and any other duties assigned
Requirements:
-
3 to 4 years experience in accounting/accounting shared service function well versed with FEMA and India GST a must

Team player with good communication skills across cultures and language barriers

A hands-on, detailed and self-motivated individual with strong analytical skills

Ability to strive in a fast-growing environment where change is the norm; strong multi-tasking skills
