Position Summary:

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of invoices and employee travel & expense (T&E) reports. This effort includes, but is not limited to, processing purchase invoices, creating payment proposals, performing AP closing tasks, and maintaining compliance with company policies and standard operating procedures across the EMEA and APAC regions. This individual works within a collaborative finance team to uphold high standards of efficiency and quality.

Essential Functions:

  • Process purchase invoices and urgent payments correctly and on time
  • Create payment proposals for daily and weekly payments
  •  Perform AP closing tasks according to the international closing schedule
  • End-of-period adjustments, clearing of accrued costs versus invoices received, and other accounting practices related to accounts payable
  • Maintaining and monitoring mailbox
  • Handles vendor correspondence
  • Frequent team meetings
  •  Adheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies
  • Ensures compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills (English required), Dutch preferred
  • Minimum 1–3 years’ experience in administrative or finance-related roles
    • Team player, responsible, persistent, and able to multitask
    • Customer-oriented, flexible, innovative, and enthusiastic attitude
    • Ability to analyze and interpret information
    • Punctual, hands-on, and self-driven
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Attention to detail
    • Self-starter

    • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products
