What You Can Expect

• ECCN Classification: Experience in ECCN Classification, focusing on the technology sector.
• Export Compliance: Knowledge of customs and export compliance in India, familiarity with global trade compliance regulations, especially outside of India, with US re-export knowledge being a plus.
• Export Experience: Previous experience exporting controlled dual-use goods to and from India, APAC, and US re-export, particularly with Category 5 products.
• Regulatory Understanding: Understanding of regulations applicable to export licensing in SCOMET or DGFT, including authorizations required under India’s DGFT and SCOMET regulations, and those required under the US Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
• Order Holds: Reviewing and processing export order holds and ensuring import/export records accuracy.

What We're Looking For

• Education: Bachelor's degree, preferably in electronics/semiconductor, with experience in ECCN Classification and Export Control.

• Certification: ECoP/CUSECO certification is a plus.

• Skills:

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and fluency in English.

  • Familiarity with Oracle Global Trade Management (GTM) application is a plus.

  • Proficiency in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to support export classification and compliance decisions.

  • Ability to use data analytics tools to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement in export processes.

  • Experience in creating detailed reports and presentations based on data analysis to inform stakeholders and support decision-making.
