Angular Developer (Angular 8+, JavaScript and Performance Tuning)
Position Purpose: We are seeking a highly skilled Angular Developer to design and develop dynamic, high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Angular, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Overall Responsibilities:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand technology requirements and design solutions to meet business needs.
- Develop technical specifications and detailed documentation for new features and enhancements.
- Stay current with the latest technology trends and advancements and suggest ways to incorporate them into existing solutions.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure the quality and maintainability of the codebase.
- Participate in the resolution of technical issues and provide technical support to team members.
- Collaborate with the testing team to ensure software solutions are thoroughly tested and meet quality standards.
Technical Skills:
Software Requirements:
- Strong understanding of Angular 5+, AngularJS, and JavaScript.
- Proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3.
- Experience with Angular 8 and above.
- Familiarity with GIT.
- Knowledge of Teamcity and Udeploy is a plus.
- Understanding of unit testing concepts and regression testing.
- Experience with JIRA.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of coding experience in Angular and JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience in performance tuning, debugging, and monitoring.
- Experience designing clean and maintainable APIs.
- Experience in following best coding, security, unit testing, and documentation standards and practices.
- Experience in Agile methodology.
- Hands-on experience with popular third-party libraries for networking and async operations.
Day-to-Day Activities:
- Participating in daily stand-up meetings and project planning sessions.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design solutions.
- Writing, testing, and deploying web applications.
- Participating in code reviews and providing feedback to other team members.
- Staying current with the latest technology trends and advancements.
- Providing technical support to team members and resolving technical issues.
Qualifications:
- Degree or Postgraduate in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).
Soft Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to influence multiple teams on technical considerations.
- Self-motivator and self-starter, able to own and drive tasks without supervision.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and changing requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact and present ideas to senior and executive management.
