Summary:
As an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects and providing technical guidance to the team. Your typical day will involve collaborating with stakeholders, analyzing requirements, designing solutions, and overseeing the development process. You will also be involved in troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during the project.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems.
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of applications.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the project, providing technical guidance and support.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze requirements and design solutions.
- Oversee the development process, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the project.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress and escalate any risks or concerns.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering their professional growth.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement necessary changes.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Cobol Mainframe.
- Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies.
- Experience in designing and developing applications using Cobol Mainframe.
- Knowledge of database concepts and SQL.
- Familiarity with version control systems and code management tools.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Java and web development frameworks.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies and deployment models.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have a minimum of 4 years of experience in Cobol Mainframe.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full-time education is required.
