Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service that identifies and resolves issues within various components of critical business systems. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing system performance, and implementing solutions to enhance system reliability and efficiency. You will engage in troubleshooting activities, ensuring that business operations run smoothly and effectively, while also documenting findings and solutions for future reference. Roles & Responsibilities: -Lead and manage support (L2/L3) teams for Java applications -Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, problems, and bugs -Perform root cause analysis and document known errors/workarounds -Coordinate deployments and patch management -Monitor application health and performance -Communicate with stakeholders during incidents and escalations -Mentor and train support engineers -Collaborate with development teams for fixes and enhancements -Apply ITIL and support process best practices -Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and related tech stack -Experience with monitoring tools, databases, cloud platforms -Proven leadership and communication skills Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Java Standard Edition. - Strong understanding of software debugging and troubleshooting techniques. - Experience with application performance monitoring tools. - Familiarity with database management and SQL. - Ability to work with version control systems such as Git. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in Java Standard Edition. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
