Thermo Fisher Scientific invites you to apply for the Applications Administrator II role. You will be a key contributor to our PASD IT Systems Governance Group, supporting application adherence, operational guidelines, and fulfilling IT and regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for tracking system adherence, supervising application health via governance tools such as CREQ, facilitating system inductions, and preserving process consistency throughout PASD IT. Your contributions will directly promote IT alignment with business strategies, regulatory compliance and risk management, and continuous process advancement within the PASD IT organization.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic/vocational qualification.
• 2–4 years of experience in application administration, system oversight, or IT compliance, including direct involvement in system validation, process documentation, and audit readiness activities.

• Ensure consistent application of IT SOPs to maintain all systems in a validated and compliant state.
• Monitor and manage application health using Change Request Application (CREQ) and other governance tools.
• Support the induction of new applications into CREQ and ensure readiness documentation is complete.
• Assist in collecting, verifying, submitting, and balancing RTE AOP data in alignment with PASD governance standards.
• Collaborate with PASD IT teams to implement process improvements driven by SOP updates or regulatory changes.
• Offer consultation and instruction to PASD IT staff regarding system conformity and governance protocols.
• Serve in the capacity of Application Manager when needed.
• Support general application administrative and compliance tasks as assigned.

• Solid knowledge of software lifecycle management and system validation procedures (GAMP 5, 21 CFR Part 11).
• Knowledge of application governance frameworks, audit readiness, and documentation control.
• Familiarity with IT SOPs, change management, and risk assessment practices.
• Experienced in governance and tracking systems (e.g., CREQ, Jira, or similar).
• Strong skills in examination, documentation, and resolving issues.
• Excellent attention to detail, with a focus on compliance, accuracy, and data integrity.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Direct involvement in managing application compliance or assistance in system validation.
• Experience working within regulatory frameworks (e.g., 21 CFR Part 11, GAMP 5).
• Experience with CREQ, Jira, or comparable system health and monitoring tools.
• Ability to interpret and apply IT SOPs and quality standards.
• Strong abilities in analysis, documentation, and communication.
• Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning to include timely engineering.

• Experience with automated monitoring tools or compliance dashboards.
• Understanding of CI/CD processes and system readiness verification.
• Experience in life sciences, healthcare, or regulated environments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools to include Power BI.
