The role involves creating and maintaining technical documents, ensuring quality, and adhering to company standards in the semiconductor domain.
Responsibilities:
1. Working with subject matter experts to generate and maintain technical documents.
2. Reviewing written technical documents for clarity, grammar, spelling, punctuation, content, and style.
3. Maintaining document database for spec. sheets, App notes etc.
4. Creating figures and graphics as needed to support written material.
5. Ensuring that all written content meets our company's standards.
6. Conducting quality assurance on documentation prior to release to company’s customers.
7. Establishing Documentation Process
Technical Writer Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in applied science, mathematics, engineering, or another related field.
- 5+ years’ experience as a technical writer/editor preferably in semiconductors domain
- Experience with Acrobat framework, XML, Latex and other document publishing tools.
- Excellent computer skills complete knowledge of MS office.
- Strong writing, editing, proof reading, and page composition skills.
- Ability to adhere to deadlines and handle pressure.
- Strong attention to detail.
