About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Transaction Support Specialist to join our London-based Asset Based Lending (ABL) team within Wells Fargo Capital Finance. This role is critical in supporting complex lending transactions, ensuring operational accuracy, and maintaining compliance standards across cross-border and UK deals.
WF ABL provides senior debt facilities secured against various assets of a business in a single structured funding package and is supported by our in-depth industry expertise and an intimate understanding of the customer's needs and objectives. Assets secured can include land and buildings, plant and machinery, in addition to the traditional loan collateral of stock (inventory), debtors (accounts receivable) and rental equipment
As part of a global ABL platform, you will help deliver seamless execution for clients by managing transaction workflows, supporting KYC processes, and coordinating with US and UK teams. This position offers exposure to diverse industries and the opportunity to develop expertise in structured lending solutions.

In this role, you will:
- Develop competency in Asset Based Lending including global ABL Collateral and Loan Management System, as well as other relevant and related systems to help manage the overall credit related to the customer.
- Assist with a variety of pre-close activities for moderately complex to complex commercial loans.
- Support of syndicated Asset Base Lending settlement and banking arrangements, ensuring accounts are set up correctly and proactively following through for operational set up and funding
- Work closely with Cross Border Relationship Managers and US teams to deliver a high-quality service to US counterparts and borrowers
- Support KYC process and proactive timeline management
- System population for new transactions on UK managed facilities
- Closely collaborate with other team members and relationship managers.
- Prepare any necessary reports on participation or syndicated loans.
- Support on other areas that may be required.
- You will benefit from on the job training, learning through a training and development program, which includes e-learning and ongoing feedback from fellow team members and managers
- Experience in Business Relationship Support, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Experience in corporate or commercial banking operations.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication in English.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, ability to multi-task and work in a deadline driven environment.
- Self-motivated, curious, and enthusiastic.
- Strong interpersonal skills and professional integrity.
- Right to work in the UK.
