Position Overview: HQ Assistant Controller
The HQ Assistant Controller plays a key role in supporting the organization's financial operations and reporting processes. This position is ideal for dynamic, detail-oriented professionals seeking to advance their career in a fast-paced, global hi-tech environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Participate in the monthly and quarterly financial closing, consolidation, and reporting processes for the company.
· Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet the organization’s financial accounting needs.
· Manage intercompany reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
· Monitor and review financial data for accuracy, integrity, and consistency.
· Work closely with external auditors and advisors on audit, accounting, and related matters.
· Assist in implementing new financial systems and tools to enhance efficiency and scalability.
· Support accounting processes within the Oracle ERP system.
Contribute to ad hoc projects and tasks as required by the finance department
Requirements
· Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification.
· Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
· Minimum of two years’ experience in a Big 4 accounting firm auditing global hi-tech companies, or equivalent experience working at global hi-tech companies.
· High-level English proficiency, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
· Experience working with Oracle ERP systems.
