The Assistant Manager leads enterprise application onboarding, manages project delivery using Agile methodologies, and drives adoption of best practices across teams while ensuring alignment and quality in project governance.
Description and Requirements
1) Lead onboarding and delivery of enterprise applications into standardized delivery platforms (e.g., Azure DevOps), ensuring alignment with Agile and project governance frameworks.
2) Elicit, analyze, and manage customer and stakeholder requirements, including functional, non-functional requirements, and success KPIs.
3) Define and execute end-to-end delivery strategy using Agile, SAFe, and hybrid project management methodologies.
4) Plan, track, and govern project delivery across multiple workstreams, ensuring scope, schedule, quality, cost, and risk are actively managed.
5) Drive adoption of Agile best practices across teams, including backlog management, sprint planning, PI planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
6) Establish delivery guardrails including Definition of Ready (DoR), Definition of Done (DoD), quality gates, and compliance checkpoints.
7) Act as a servant leader to cross-functional teams (engineering, testing, operations, security), enabling predictable and high-quality delivery.
8) Participate in and contribute to the regional Agile / Delivery Center of Excellence (CoE), mentoring teams and improving delivery maturity across regions
9) Proactively manage risks, dependencies, issues, and production-impacting incidents; ensure timely resolution and stakeholder communication.
10) Measure and report delivery performance using Agile and project metrics (velocity, predictability, cycle time, throughput, quality, SLA adherence).
11) Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process gaps, automation opportunities, and emerging delivery practices.
12) Support change management and organizational transformation initiatives related to Agile and DevOps adoption.
