Overview of Job Function:
The Associate Analyst, Risk & Compliance supports global Legal, Risk & Compliance functions by performing risk assessments, compliance monitoring, vendor due diligence, and regulatory documentation. A core responsibility of this role is supporting ESG program data collection, validation, and reporting to satisfy internal governance and external regulatory filing obligations. The role will also be responsible for providing information to stakeholders as required, and facilitating RFP responses among subject matter experts regarding risk and compliance topics.
ResponsibilitiesPrincipal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with internal data owners to gather ESG metrics (energy, emissions, waste, DEI, compliance).
- Validate completeness, accuracy, and consistency of ESG data.
- Maintain audit trails, data logs, and documentation for regulatory submissions.
- Assist in assembling ESG disclosures for annual sustainability reporting.
- Follow reporting frameworks (SASB, GRI, TCFD/IFRS) and ensure alignment with internal processes.
- Support development of standardized data management practices.
- Conduct internal/external risk assessments.
- Support due diligence activities relating to anti‑bribery, privacy, and vendor compliance.
- Review compliance documentation, track obligations, and help respond to RFP questions.
- Work with Legal, Compliance, ESG, IT Security, Facilities, HR, and Finance to collect and verify data.
- Support training and communications for ESG data owners.
- Maintain compliance trackers, logs, dashboards.
- Prepare summaries, findings, and support documentation for audits and regulatory reporting.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Risk, Environmental Studies, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in risk, compliance, ESG reporting, or analytical roles.
- Strong Excel/data‑validation skills and comfort with structured reporting processes.
- Ability to understand regulatory frameworks and ESG standards.
- Experience supporting multinational risk/compliance functions.
- Familiarity with audit processes and ESG disclosure frameworks.
