About the department
The Associate HR Professional role is part of the People Operations (PO) department within Global Business Services (GBS) in Bangalore. GBS-PO supports the global People and Organisation (P&O) function in designing and implementing HR strategies. Our department is in Bangalore, India, and offers a fast-paced and dynamic atmosphere. Join our team and contribute to our mission of supporting Novo Nordisk's global HR initiatives.
The position
As an EDM Associate I at Novo Nordisk, you will:

  • Handle hire to retire AskHR requests in a timely manner with high quality. Be familiar with the functionality of tools and applications.
  • Ensure and maintain the security and confidentiality of data. Adhere to daily targets and quality KPIs.
  • Ensure compliance with Right First Time. Perform day-to-day activities according to defined KPIs and Work Instructions, following internal guidelines/policies.
  • Perform all actions related to Employee Data Management. Ensure the quality of new and existing data.
  • Follow standard Work Instructions and Checklists. Plan and prioritize daily activities under the guidance of an allocated mentor and in agreement with the mentor/lead. Make decisions in consultation with mentor/lead.

  • University degree in a Human Resource discipline or other relevant background.
  • 0 to 4 years of relevant working experience with one or more of the key professional competencies.
  • Competency in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Fluent in written and spoken English. Strong analytical mind-set. Professional, proactive, and goal oriented.
  • Good communicator. Quality mind-set, well-organized, and strive for excellence. Structured and attention to detail.
  • Pro-active planner to meet agreed deliverables. Curious and constantly looking for improvement opportunities. Team player with a high degree of flexibility and service-mindedness.
  • Cross-cultural awareness. Ability and willingness to quickly adjust to changes in a continuously developing environment.
  • Expertise in all MS Office tools. Experience with Service Now tool, Employee Central, and SAP HR.
