About the department
Global Finance GBS Bangalore was established in 2007, is currently responsible for supporting Accounting, Finance & Procurement, Financial Planning & Analytics (FP&A) for Headquarters, region Europe, North America, International Operations (IO) & GBS Bangalore. The main purpose of our existence is to provide superior service to our stakeholders consistently and add value to the processes in terms of standardization and efficiency.
The position
As an Associate II in Master Data Management, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing complex global master data management processes, ensuring accurate and timely preparation and maintenance of customer, finance, assets, and treasury master data in the SAP ERP system.
  • Performing day-to-day activities of processing master data tickets assigned, following relevant SOPs, business matrix, SLA timelines, and KPIs.
  • Facilitating the setup and maintenance of global and local master data, requiring coordination across global business units and diverse cultures.


Qualifications
To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in finance or accounting.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Good academic track record and grades.
  • 3+ years of experience within a Master Data Management function in a larger organization.
  • Experience working with SAP ERP system.
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written).
  • Strong accounting knowledge.
  • Proficient computer skills (MS Office).
  • Social and team-oriented mindset.
