Associate Lead Quality Assurance Engineer
We are looking for an Associate Lead Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in India. This is an amazing opportunity to work on different project with our QA team having different competencies to compete and learn together. We have a great skill set in the team related to Manual Testing, Test Automation, Performance Testing, DevOps, Accessibility Testing and Security Testing. We need someone experienced in both Automation and Manual testing, covering Application UI, Services, and Data. Ideally, you should have a strong background in writing Automation tests using Java and TypeScript.
About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or master’s degree (BE, ME, B Tech, MTech, MCA, MS)
- 5 years of demonstrable experience in Test Automation, Performance Engineering and Accessibility Testing
- Test Automation: Strong coding & debugging skills in tools and technologies like Java, Python, .Net, Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, Junit, Rest Assured, Robot Framework, etc. Preferable experience in Javascript based tools; Cypress, Playwright, Puppeteer, Jest, Jasmine
- Performance Engineering: Strong experience of performance engineering including hands on with at least one tool (Netload, JMeter or LoadRunner) along with very good understanding of browser-side performance testing tools and analyzing skills.
- Accessibility Testing: Good to have the skills for accessibility engineering of enterprise products including WCAG and 508 guidelines. Have worked on any one of the tools like WAVE, AXE, SiteImprove, AChecker etc. and can automate other open-source tools for accessibility.
- Clear understanding of testing pyramid, understanding of functional and non-functional aspects of testing
- Designing the architecture of test automation frameworks and implementing the framework in the new project after analyzing the best test automation tool and technology.
- Have worked and significantly contributed to automation using CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins, Teamcity or Azure DevOps.
- Demonstrable work done in product development & dev in test with teams spread across different locations worldwide.
- Good working experience with GIT, Jenkins, bitbucket, JIRA etc.
- Working familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP etc.
- Should be able to mentor and assist junior team members & ramp-up new joiners.
- Clear understanding of Agile & Kanban development approaches
- Familiarity of working with test and defect management tools like Zephyr, Testrail, Quality Center.
- Demonstrable work done in product development & quality with teams spread across different locations worldwide
It would be great if you also had:
- Experience in an Agile environment.
- A proactive approach to learning new skills.
- Experience with Browser Developer tools.
- Familiarity with Elasticsearch/MongoDB/NoSQL querying
What will you be doing in this role?
- This is 80% coding and 20% people management role
- Design, implement, and execute automated tests.
- Debug, fix, and optimize existing automated tests.
- Maintain manual test scripts as needed using the Zephyr tool in JIRA.
- Utilize bug tracking and report generating tools.
- Communicate test progress, results, and other relevant information to leadership and stakeholders.
- Configure regression frameworks to run against different instances.
- Collaborate closely with Software Engineers, Product, and Project Management.

The Incites B&A Development team comprises multiple squads working on various initiatives, from Application UI/API to Data Testing, enhancing data quality, and optimizing application performance for our customers.
