The Position
As an Associate Manager - RWE will have the following key responsibilities to function as the people manager for the Project Management (RWE) team. Manage and develop the team, providing direction, skills development, coaching, and guidance. Set targets for the team, delegate responsibilities, and manage performance. Deliver RWE projects in line with the IO-SO RWE strategy and agreement with the RWE Senior Director, IO-SO. Collaborate with various departments and units within Novo Nordisk to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Define project scope, goals, deliverables, stakeholder mapping, estimated cost, and timeline for medium complexity projects.
  • Execute projects according to plan and budget, ensuring goals are met on time and in high quality.
  • Identify risks and mitigation actions during project execution.
  • Share learnings and best practices with the team and identify synergies with concurrent projects.


Qualifications

  • Should be a Science/Pharmacy post-graduate or Ph.D in relevant area.
  • Minimum formal management training and Experience in the field of Clinical research, Real World Evidence studies is required.
  • Should have around 7 years of relevant work experience. At least 4 years of people management experience.
  • Experience in the field of Clinical research, Real World Evidence studies is required.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Additional education and experience in pharma business/marketing.
  • Ability to coach colleagues and support team development.
  • Ability to manage complex tasks and organizational issues.
  • Ability to engage and collaborate with people of different cultural background.

Global Medical Affairs, GBS (GMA GBS) is an extension of the Global Medical Affairs team in Headquarters (HQ) in Denmark and Zurich, based out of Global Business Services (GBS), Bangalore, India. The team consists of highly motivated medical advisors, project managers, scientific advisors and publication managers working together with HQ, regions, and affiliates across the world. Our core competencies are communicating scientific and medical knowledge on our products to the external scientific community and across the organisation, delivering external medical events including in-house content development and project management and Publication planning.
