Role Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and proactive Associate Partnerships Manager with 3-5 years of experience in programmatic advertising, ad tech, or a related field. This role is responsible for optimizing supply-side partnerships, ensuring high-quality inventory, and reducing inefficiencies across the ad ecosystem. You will collaborate closely with SSPs, exchanges, data science, engineering, and ad operations to enhance inventory quality, win rates, and campaign performance.As an Associate Partnerships Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining clean inventory, removing duplicate ad calls, and developing processes to track and improve exchange quality over time.

Key Responsibilities

Quality & Optimization:

  • Filter out low-quality or fraudulent inventory before it enters the ecosystem.
  • Remove duplicate ad calls to enhance efficiency and reduce wasted impressions.
  • Develop and refine algorithms to identify and eliminate bad inventory.
  • Monitor supply sources to ensure we are bidding only on high-quality ad requests.

SSP & Exchange Management:

  • Collaborate with SSPs and exchanges to ensure clean, high-converting inventory.
  • Work with partners to optimize ad request filtering, ensuring that incoming supply has the highest probability of conversion (win rate).
  • Establish quality benchmarks for supply partners and hold them accountable for maintaining standards.
  • Track exchange performance over time to identify any degradation in quality or sudden increases in bad inventory.

Data & Performance Analysis:

  • Develop metrics and reporting frameworks to measure inventory quality trends.
  • Analyze how clean inventory improves user profiling and contributes to campaign success.
  • Work with data science and engineering to refine pre-bid filtering and fraud detection mechanisms.

Cross-Team Collaboration & Process Improvement:

  • Partner with engineering and data science to implement automated solutions for inventory quality control.
  • Document processes and best practices for managing and optimizing supply-side partnerships.
  • Contribute to product and monetization strategies by ensuring a strong supply foundation.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in ad tech, programmatic advertising, partnerships, or related fields.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience working with SSPs, DSPs, and programmatic exchanges.
  • Understanding of ad fraud detection, inventory filtering, and quality control techniques.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, data science, and external partners.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Experience with SQL, Python, or BI tools is a plus but not required.
