Job Description
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience 5+ years
- Strong working experience in systems engineering or administration, with a focus on Windows-based environments.
- Proficiency in Chef configuration management tool, including writing cookbooks, recipes, and using Chef server.
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell and Docker.
- Experience with Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and Group Policy management.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and methodologies.
- Experience with other automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or PowerShell DSC.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps
- Mentoring the team members to meet the client's needs and holding them accountable for high standards of delivery detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyzing the project’s requirements and the ability to convert said requirements into technical documents and design.
- Implementing design methodologies and tool sets
- Executing the development of software with a strong focus on the security, performance, and robustness.
- Conducting deep level analysis to identify root cause to systematically resolve issues
- Following all defined software configuration management best practices
- Addressing issues promptly, responding positively to setbacks and challenges with a mindset of continuous improvement
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
