Job DescriptionREQUIREMENTS:
- Total experience 5+ years
- Hands on experience in enterprise applications Oracle CPQ.
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in BML, BMQL, and document generation using XSLT/HTML.
- Good understanding of Oracle CPQ quote-to-cash (Q2C) processes, pricing models, and approval workflows.
- Exposure to CRM/ERP systems such as Salesforce, Oracle CX/Oracle CPQ-integrated Fusion, or SAP.
- Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs and integration concepts relevant to Oracle CPQ.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Modify, develop, and troubleshoot Oracle CPQ BML scripts, BMQL queries, and document templates (XSLT/HTML).
- Perform unit and system testing within Oracle CPQ, validate configurations, and support UAT cycles.
- Collaborate with integration teams to verify data flows between Oracle CPQ and connected systems such as CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and ERP (e.g., Oracle Fusion).
- Maintain Oracle CPQ configuration logs, technical documentation, and user guides.
- Client Interaction: Participate in requirement-gathering sessions, solution walkthroughs, and user training workshops related to Oracle CPQ functionality.
- Understanding the client’s business use cases and technical requirements and be able to convert them in to technical design which elegantly meets the requirements
- Mapping decisions with requirements and be able to translate the same to developers
- Identifying different solutions and being able to narrow down the best option that meets the client’s requirements
- Defining guidelines and benchmarks for NFR considerations during project implementation
- Writing and reviewing design document explaining overall architecture, framework, and high-level design of the application for the developers
- Reviewing architecture and design on various aspects like extensibility, scalability, security, design patterns, user experience, NFRs, etc., and ensure that all relevant best practices are followed
- Developing and designing the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements; and defining technologies, patterns, and frameworks to materialize it
- Understanding and relating technology integration scenarios and applying these learnings in projects
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
