Associate Support Engineer (Postman/Selenium, DevOps, Data monitoring)
We are looking for a hybrid problem-solver who lives at the intersection of Software Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Intelligent Automation. This isn't a "traditional" development role; it’s a position designed for a technologist who excels at identifying why things break and building the automated systems to ensure they don't break again.
The candidate will leverage AI tools to streamline processes, automate workflows, and ensure rock-solid software quality. We’re seeking a proactive problem-solver with 1 to 2 years of experience to bridge AI innovation with practical defect resolution & DevOps — perfect for someone excited to grow from beginner full-stack foundations into advanced automation mastery.
The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of AI-assisted development tools, foundational full-stack development skills, and hands-on experience with automation and DevOps practices, along with the ability to identify and resolve L3-level software and UI defects in production environments.
This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy solving deep technical issues, building automation solutions, and leveraging modern AI tools to improve engineering productivity and software reliability.
Qualifications
L3 Application & UI Defect Resolution
- Investigate and resolve complex L3-level UI and application defects.
- Perform deep root cause analysis across frontend, backend, APIs, and infrastructure layers.
- Collaborate with development teams to implement permanent fixes.
- Improve defect prevention through better logging, monitoring, and automated testing.
- Knowledge to create automated test cases via Playwright framework.
Quality & Reliability Engineering
- Support software quality initiatives including automated testing, defect trend analysis, and stability improvements.
- Contribute to improving system reliability, observability, and performance monitoring.
Good to Have (Competitive Advantage) – IT Process Automation
- Design and implement automation solutions to streamline IT and engineering workflows.
- Automate repetitive tasks in deployment pipelines, environment setup, monitoring alerts, and operational tasks.
- Use scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell to develop automation solutions.
DevOps & Infrastructure Support
- Support DevOps activities and assist in infrastructure‑related tasks across modern engineering environments.
Required Technical Skills – Application Support & Debugging
- Experience in L3 production support with the ability to troubleshoot issues in UI, APIs, backend services, and database interactions.
- Experience working with Chrome DevTools, Postman, or Selenium.
- Strong log analysis and debugging capabilities.
- Experience in creating automated test cases via the Playwright framework.
AI & Full‑Stack Knowledge
- Working knowledge of AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot.
- Basic to intermediate full‑stack development experience.
- Strong debugging and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience with automation scripting using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience working with version control systems such as Git.
DevOps & Tools Exposure
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Basic knowledge of containerization using Docker.
- Basic exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as ELK, Datadog, or Prometheus.
Experience & Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in Software Engineering, DevOps, or Application Support roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments.
