Job Title: Associate Technical Architect – Generative AI Software Development

Job Description:
We are seeking an Associate Technical Architect to design and develop scalable, AI-driven solutions that enhance developer productivity. This role requires deep expertise in system architecture, generative AI, cloud technologies, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). You will lead technical decisions, collaborate across teams, and ensure robust, high-performance system design while rapidly prototyping and demonstrating AI capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• System Architecture & Design: Architect and implement scalable, resilient, and secure AI systems using microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and distributed computing principles. Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, disaster recovery, and cost efficiency.

• Scalable AI Agent Development: Design, build, and optimize generative AI agents that are scalable, flexible, and adaptable to diverse use cases. Implement memory management strategies to enable context retention across interactions and integrate external tools, APIs, and knowledge sources to enhance agent capabilities. Develop architectures that support large-scale AI-driven applications while maintaining performance and reliability.

• Rapid Prototyping & MVP Development: Demonstrate AI capabilities by quickly developing MVPs and showcasing real-time demos in an agile, iterative manner. Ensure rapid experimentation and continuous refinement of AI-driven features.

• RAG & Vector Databases: Implement and optimize RAG pipelines, evaluate vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma), and integrate external knowledge sources to enhance LLM performance.

• Scalability & Performance Optimization: Continuously evaluate and refine system architectures to improve response times, throughput, and efficiency. Optimize AI models for latency, cost, and computational performance.

• Team Leadership & Collaboration: Lead and mentor machine learning engineers, foster a collaborative development culture, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless AI solution integration.

• Technical Documentation & Best Practices: Maintain high-quality documentation of system architectures, APIs, and workflows, ensuring clarity and maintainability.

• Advanced Prompt Engineering: Develop and refine effective prompts to optimize AI outputs, experimenting with techniques like few-shot learning and chain-of-thought reasoning to enhance accuracy and contextual relevance.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in software development, system design, and architecting complex AI-driven systems.

• Expertise in scalable and distributed system architectures with strong problem-solving skills.

• Deep understanding of generative AI, AI agent development, memory management, and tool integration.

• Strong background in cloud technologies (Google Cloud Platform required).

• Hands-on experience with RAG, vector databases, and embedding techniques.

• Ability to collaborate across teams, lead engineering efforts, and drive technical innovation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience leading engineering teams and mentoring developers.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and MLOps best practices.

• Understanding of ethical AI considerations, including bias detection and mitigation.

• Contributions to open-source GenAI projects or research publications.
