Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Automation Tester with AWS Cloud expertise to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks for our cloud-based applications, ensuring high-quality software delivery in an AWS environment.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive automated test strategies for cloud-based applications
  • Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard frameworks and tools
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
  • Design and set up test environments using AWS services such as EC2, S3, and Lambda
  • Identify, analyze, and report software defects and performance issues
  • Optimize test execution time and resource utilization in the AWS cloud
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving overall code quality
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in automation testing and AWS technologies
  • Mentor junior team members on best practices in automation testing and cloud technologies

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in automation testing, with a strong focus on cloud-based applications
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, and CloudFormation
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
  • Strong knowledge of automation testing frameworks like Selenium, Appium, or similar tools
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI
  • Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git
  • Expertise in API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured
  • Experience with test management tools such as JIRA and TestRail
  • Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and principles
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • AWS Certified Developer or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer certification is a plus
