Intel Client Computing Group (CCG) Edge Computing System Software Engineering group seeking candidates with product development experience in Boot firmware development. Successful candidates will be part of Boot firmware solutions team developing cutting edge Bootloaders for Intel Edge platforms.
Job Responsibilities:

1) Part of Boot firmware solutions team.
2) Develop cutting edge state of the art Bootloader solutions for wide variety of Intel Architecture SoC platforms.
3) Develop Client platform Boot loader reference code and related documentation for Intel silicon products such as next generation chipsets and processors.
4) Responsible in owning development of module in Bootloader domain and Debug various issues reported.
5) Added advantage to have Knowledge of PCIe,UART,I2C,SPI,USB,SATA,eMMC.

Qualifications:1) Applicants should have a B.Tech / M.Tech in Electronics and Communications or Equivalent with 10+yrs of industry experience. 2) Strong C and Assembly programming skills with experience with modular software design in Intel Architecture. 3) Experience in BIOS, UEFI, TIANO, EDK/EDKII and ACPI Frameworks. 4) Product Development experience in Boot Firmware like BIOS/Bootloaders along with Solid knowledge of software development and integration methodology. 5) Hands on with Debug and Trace tools like Intel x86 ITP, CCA Debuggers. 6) Good Experience with Silicon Power On/ Bare Metal Board Bring Up Bring Up/Boot KPI Performance Optimizations. 7) Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical documentation. 8) Familiar with source code management systems (e.g. GitHub) for professional software development. 9) Strong collaborative and organizational skills, as well as your ability to effectively work with teams. 10) Proactive, resourceful and self-motivated with strong analytical, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
