Our products, especially the flagship Global M&A Database is used by many companies, including Majors, Independents, NOCs, Banks and Consulting firms. Our products are regularly referenced by leading news publishers such as Financial Times, Reuters, Wall Street Journal and Upstreamonline. Enverus is looking for Business Analysts to be part of one of those teams. Enverus consists of highly qualified and experienced analysts, consultants and programmers that help enhance and create a complete product and service delivery. The company's extensive knowledge on global and local markets is driven by the engagement of its international staff members.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Business Analyst - I with a strong foundation in Python, SQL, and data analysis. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to transform data into actionable insights, optimize business processes, and support decision-making through data-driven approaches.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements
- Utilize SQL for querying databases and extracting data for analysis and reporting
- Leverage Python for data processing, automation, and advanced analytics tasks (e.g., building models, performing statistical analysis)
- Identify business process improvements and opportunities for automation using data-driven insights
- Conduct data validation and quality assurance to ensure the accuracy and reliability of insights
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in science, Technology or a related field
- Intermediate proficiency in Python (e.g., Pandas, Numpy, Matplotlib, Plotly, Scikit-Learn, Requests, Beautiful-Soup(bs4), Selenium, os, openpyxl, rapidfuzz, data cleaning, scripting)
- Proficient in SQL (e.g., writing queries, joins, optimizing queries)
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical teams
