Job Description
Job Summary:We are seeking a forward-thinking and analytical Business Analyst to join our innovation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting market research, analyzing data, and identifying emerging trends to drive innovation within the organization. The Business Analyst will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to gather insights, develop business cases, and support the implementation of innovative solutions. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape. Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders focused on innovation. Develop and present business cases to support innovative project initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative solutions. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions and innovations. Create detailed reports and presentations for management on market insights and innovation progress. Provide ongoing support and training to users on new innovative tools and processes. Conduct extensive research to identify the total market (TAM) demand for a product or service. This includes analyzing industry reports, market trends, and competitive landscapes. Narrow down the TAM to focus on the segment of the market that the business can target with its products or services (SAM). This involves understanding customer needs, preferences, and behaviors. Further refine the SAM to determine the portion of the market that the business can realistically capture, considering factors like competition, market penetration strategies, and resource constraints (SOM). Analyze competitors' market positions, strengths, and weaknesses to understand the competitive landscape and identify opportunities for market entry or expansion. Assess the impact of competitive actions on the business's market share and growth potential. Develop different market scenarios based on various assumptions and market conditions to evaluate potential outcomes and risks. Provide recommendations on the best strategies to capture the identified market opportunities. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Product Design preferred which helps to strong analytical and problem-solving skills, which are essential for strategic decision-making and operational efficiency in business. strengthen insights into user research and usability testing, helping you understand customer needs and preferences, which is crucial for product development and marketing. Master’s degree in business administration with a specialization on Entrepreneurship in the area of Information Technology with an experience of 3-5 years. Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role, with a focus on innovation and market research. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in market research tools and business analysis software. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of project management methodologies is a plus. Experience working in a startup or Venture environment. Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic settings. Demonstrated success in roles requiring innovation and adaptability. Strong entrepreneurial mindset and problem-solving skills.
