Seeking an experienced Business Analyst for Intraday Liquidity Management to optimize payment systems and enhance operational efficiency. Responsibilities include working with stakeholders, analyzing business requirements, and supporting system enhancements.
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong expertise in Intraday Liquidity Management and Payment Systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with SAP Liquidity Management System (LMS), real-time payments, and ISO 20022 migrations. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders, operations, and technology teams to design, implement, and optimize liquidity management solutions that enhance operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.
SAP Liquidity Management System (LMS) Onboarding
- Engage with business and technology stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements through BRDs, FSDs, and user stories.
- Translate business needs into actionable functional specifications and oversee end-to-end delivery of the liquidity management system.
- Drive modernization of legacy trade data systems (e.g., TLM) to advanced platforms, achieving up to 60% improvement in processing speed and handling over 1 million daily transactions efficiently.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of “as-is” and “to-be” business processes to identify improvement areas, streamline workflows, and enhance reporting accuracy.
- Support testing, validation, and post-implementation reviews to ensure business objectives and compliance standards are met.
Payment Systems & Real-Time Liquidity Operations
- Work extensively with corporate payment systems including RTGS, MEPS+, and SWIFT, managing high-value domestic and cross-border transactions.
- Manage end-to-end payment lifecycle activities—initiation, monitoring, settlement, and reconciliation—ensuring timely and accurate execution.
- Lead business analysis for SWIFT ISO 20022 migration, including message mapping, validation, and stakeholder coordination to ensure seamless transition and BAU continuity.
- Collaborate with Treasury, Finance, and Operations teams to enhance liquidity visibility, optimize intraday positions, and support regulatory reporting.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Liquidity Management, Payments, or Transaction Banking domains.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Liquidity Management System (LMS) or equivalent Treasury systems.
- Strong understanding of SWIFT, ISO 20022, RTGS, and MEPS+ payment ecosystems.
- Proven ability to document business and functional requirements (BRDs, FSDs, user stories) and translate them into actionable deliverables.
- Experience with process re-engineering, data analysis, and system enhancement initiatives.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience in banking or financial services domain, especially in Treasury or Liquidity Risk Management.
- Exposure to regulatory liquidity reporting and intraday liquidity monitoring frameworks (e.g., Basel III).
