As a Business Analyst, you’ll work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to translate complex problems into clear, actionable solutions. Moreover, this role will offer you the opportunity to work on varied projects within the Financial Crime space, where agility, innovation, and strong business acumen are essential. You’ll contribute to shaping transformation outcomes that deliver measurable value and long-term impact.
We’ll also look to you to build, manage, and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and third-party suppliers across multiple franchises and functions, while leading requirements-gathering sessions to understand challenges and future needs. Your work will drive collaboration and shape solutions that will move our business forward.
In addition, you’ll be:
- Developing process maps, user stories, and functional specifications, as well as supporting the planning and delivery of transformation roadmaps and implementation activities
- Analysing business processes and identify opportunities for optimisation, innovation, and improved data flow for improved customer experience
- Supporting solution design by working with technology and data teams to explore options and recommend the best approach
- Creating and executing test scenarios and test scripts at various stages of the project to validate the solution design
- Participating in workshops, designing sprints and testing cycles to make sure that solutions meet business requirements
We’re looking for an experienced professional with a strong analytical mindset, and the ability to turn data and insights into practical solutions. You’ll need to have exceptional organisational skills, adaptability across multiple workstreams, and at least 15 years of experience as a Business Analyst in transformation and strategic initiatives, along with proven expertise in producing clear requirements and defining functional designs.
To succeed in this role, you’ll have to bring innovative thinking, sharp critical analysis, and exceptional stakeholder management skills. We also expect you to be an effective and confident communicator who can present complex information with clarity and impact.
In addition, you’ll need:
- Experience of managing business strategy and change initiatives in an agile environment
- Experience mentoring business analysts and collaborating extensively with business and technology teams to ensure successful delivery of initiatives
- Deep knowledge in financial crime domain, especially of Customer Due Diligence/Know Your Customer (CDD/KYC) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), as this will be an advantage for you
- Relevant professional certification, particularly a Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP) credential, as this will be an advantage for you
