The role requires professional communication, confidential information handling, structured follow-up, and compliance with Indian Bar Council restrictions on legal advertising and solicitation.
Bisani Legal is a Bengaluru law firm advising businesses and individuals on corporate and commercial law, contracts, IP, employment, real estate, disputes and recovery, and supporting Global Capability Centres (GCCs) setting up in India.
We are looking for a Business Development & Channel Partnerships Lead to build the Firm's relationships and partner network.
What you will do- Business development: identify and qualify prospective corporate clients (manufacturing, pharma / life sciences, technology, GCCs, startups and SMEs); manage enquiries from first contact to consultation booking.
- Channel partner engagement: build and manage relationships with company secretaries, chartered accountants, consultants, incubators, industry associations and GCC service providers; run partner meetings, joint knowledge sessions and events.
- Pipeline: keep every lead, meeting and follow-up updated in Zoho CRM; follow up within agreed timelines; hand qualified matters to the right legal team.
- Proposals: coordinate fee proposals and engagement letters with the lawyers; track proposals to closure.
- Reporting: weekly pipeline and partner-activity report to the Founder.
- 1–3 years in B2B business development, partnerships or client relations (professional services, legal-tech, consulting or financial services preferred).
- Strong written and spoken English; Kannada or Hindi is a plus.
- Comfortable with CRM tools (Zoho CRM preferred) and structured follow-up.
- Professional, discreet and able to handle confidential client information.
- Professional retainer (consultancy) with Bisani Legal, Jayanagar 7th Block, Bengaluru – office-based.
- Office hours 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM, Monday to Saturday (Sundays and second Saturdays off); 12 medical and 16 casual/family leave days a year.
- Monthly retainer based on experience, plus performance incentives.
Law firms in India may not advertise or solicit work (Bar Council of India Rules). All outreach must be informational and professional – no "best lawyer" claims, testimonials, guarantees of results, or paid referral commissions. You will work within these rules and the Firm's approval process.
