The opportunity as a Business Development Manager:
- We’re looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager to join our fast-growing team. Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing, you’ll play a critical role in building and scaling the Business Development (BD) function. This is a unique opportunity to grow with the company and take on a leadership position as we scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for leading the Outbound BDR and Inbound BDR teams.
- You be responsible for generating a pipeline of leads via outbound efforts like email outreach, cold calling and social media outreach.
- Must be able to define, manage and drive BD and Sales Metrics - call & reachout daily volume, connects, meetings booked, meetings completed, opportunities generated.
- Will be responsible for accessing BD training needs, mentoring, and coaching them as well as hiring and building a team.Experience and comfort with cold calling is a must.
- You’ll carry both individual and the team quota. Lead by example.Work with the marketing team to create and execute sales campaigns.
- Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts.
- Prepare and deliver presentations/demos and connect in a professional way to USA tech buyers (CTOs/VP Technology/ COO/ VP Operations) whenever required.Assess competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends.
- Get customer feedback to generate ideas about new features or products.
Need to Have:
- 6+ years of experience selling IT/SaaS products in the US (North American) market.
- Exceptional communication skills with cultural sensitivity to US business practices.
- Proven experience engaging with "C" and "D" level executives.
- Team management experience with a track record of motivating and scaling teams.
- Passion for selling innovative technology products.
- Proficiency in documenting, synthesizing, and communicating results effectively.Flexibility, self-motivation, and collaboration in a startup environment.
- Currently working in the EST time zone.
Nice to Have:
- Prior experience managing a team of BDRs and delivering measurable results.
- Enthusiasm for emerging technologies like AI.
