We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Manager to drive business growth, build strong client relationships, and expand our B2B customer base. The ideal candidate should possess strong sales acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to identify and convert business opportunities across industries. Experience in consultative selling and client engagement within the HRTech or recruitment services domain will be an added advantage.

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in generating new business opportunities, managing the end-to-end sales cycle, and contributing to revenue growth. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to understand market trends, client requirements, and competitive positioning to deliver tailored business solutions.


RequirementsKey Responsibilities
  • Identify, generate, and qualify new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, LinkedIn outreach, and other lead-generation activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients to understand their business needs and offer suitable solutions.
  • Manage the complete B2B sales cycle, including lead generation, presentations, negotiations, proposal creation, and deal closure.
  • Develop strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.
  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer demands, and competitor activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as recruitment, operations, and delivery to ensure seamless onboarding and client satisfaction.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales pitches, product demonstrations, and business presentations to decision-makers.
  • Maintain accurate sales records, pipeline updates, and forecasting reports using CRM tools.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, contracts, and service agreements with clients.
  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand business reach and brand visibility.
  • Ensure high levels of customer engagement and retention through proactive relationship management.
Required SkillsMust-Have Skills
  • Strong experience in Sales and Business Development.
  • Proven expertise in B2B Sales with a track record of achieving revenue targets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build long-term client relationships and manage key accounts effectively.
  • Strong understanding of sales funnels, lead conversion strategies, and business acquisition techniques.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Good-to-Have Skills
  • Prior exposure to HRTech platforms or Recruitment Services industry.
  • Understanding of hiring solutions, staffing models, talent acquisition, or workforce management services.
  • Experience selling SaaS-based HR or recruitment products/services will be an added advantage.
Desired Candidate Profile
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in business development, B2B sales, or client acquisition roles.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools and CRM platforms.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to changing business needs.
