As a Business Development Representative you will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying leads, and scheduling discovery meetings to generate customer demand and uncover qualified sales pipeline. What will success look like in this position? 

The SDR will learn the methodologies and skills to prospect, qualify, and schedule discovery meetings to ensure Catchpoint’s sales pipeline is always full.  Understanding not only what we do, but how we do it, to prospect our value proposition to new and existing customers.


Responsibilities

  • Identify key prospects and accounts based on target personas within our core industries
  • Connect and engage with prospects through multiple channels: phone, email, video and social media
  • Uncover prospect’s business pains and determine how Catchpoint can be of value
  • Offer valuable resources that educate, inform, and create curiosity
  • Coordinate meetings between buyers and Account Executives to facilitate business discussions
  • Collaborate with your peers and virtual teams to develop account strategy and continuously improve our messages and tactics
  • Qualify and disqualify inbound leads expressing explicit interest in Catchpoint
  • Help your sales colleagues with coordination, preparation, and execution in the early stages of a high touch sales process
  • Effectively follow internal processes to track, manage, and log all activities in Salesforce.com

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Background in business development, prospecting and qualifying enterprise customers across the United States, and Europe.
  • Experience interacting with senior technical buyers at enterprise companies
  • Skilled in offering valuable and useful information with creative approaches that break the barriers of spam and unwanted calls
  • A solid understanding of modern technologies like the internet, networking, monitoring, and cloud computing.
  • Experience in a customer-facing role, whether it be sales, hospitality or retail
  • Strong phone presence and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Self-motivated, professional, detail-oriented, organized and flexible
  • Ability to work individually and in a team environment
  • Positive attitude with the desire to work in an entrepreneurial environment
  • BA/BS degree preferred
