We are seeking an experienced Finance Controller to lead financial planning, business finance, and commercial finance functions while driving strategic decision-making across the organization. This role is ideal for a finance leader who can partner closely with executive leadership to improve business performance, optimize profitability, and build scalable financial processes that support long-term growth.

As a Finance Controller, you will oversee financial planning and analysis (FP&A), budgeting, forecasting, business performance reporting, and commercial finance while ensuring strong governance across accounting, treasury, compliance, audits, and financial controls. You will work cross-functionally with business leaders to provide data-driven insights, strengthen financial discipline, and enable informed strategic decisions. This role requires a strong blend of financial expertise, commercial acumen, leadership capability, and experience operating in high-growth, fast-paced business environments.


RequirementsKey Responsibilities
  • Lead Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), including annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
  • Partner with leadership teams to drive business strategy, pricing decisions, profitability improvement, and unit economics.
  • Develop financial models to support business expansion, investment decisions, and strategic initiatives.
  • Own management reporting (MIS), financial dashboards, and business performance reviews for executive leadership.
  • Drive commercial finance initiatives by providing actionable financial insights to improve operational efficiency and business growth.
  • Oversee accounting, controllership, treasury, statutory compliance, taxation, and audit processes to ensure financial accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Establish scalable financial processes, governance frameworks, and internal controls to support organizational growth.
  • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial health while identifying opportunities for optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate new business opportunities, cost structures, and operational performance.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team while fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
What Makes You a Great Fit
  • 7+ years of experience in Finance, Business Finance, FP&A, Commercial Finance, or Financial Controllership roles.
  • Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and business performance analysis.
  • Proven experience partnering with senior leadership on strategic planning, pricing, profitability, and growth initiatives.
  • Hands-on experience managing accounting, treasury, compliance, statutory audits, and financial reporting.
  • Strong understanding of business finance, unit economics, and commercial decision-making.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and financial planning capabilities with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience building scalable finance processes, governance frameworks, and internal controls.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial reporting tools, Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and business intelligence platforms.
  • Prior experience in Consumer Technology, D2C, E-commerce, Marketplace, Q-commerce, Retail, or other high-growth business environments is highly preferred.
