A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As an Business Intelligence Architect at MKS Instruments, you will partner with fellow BI Team members, Business Analysts and Business Users to design and develop creative BI & Analytics Solutions that help Business make data driven decisions for the Company. 

Note: The successful candidate will receive the $250 StartSmart Incentive post-joining.
You Will Make an Impact By:

  • Design, develop, and implement business intelligence (BI) solutions to support organizational decision-making and strategic planning
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements, translating them into technical specifications for BI solutions
  • Develop data models, data warehouses, and data marts to organize and structure data for efficient analysis and reporting.
  • Create and maintain BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security by implementing robust data governance and quality control measures
  • Optimize data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to improve efficiency and performance.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to BI developers and analysts, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in business intelligence and data analytics to continually enhance BI capabilities

Preferred Skills (Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements)

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience
  • 5+ years of experience in creating and leading BI solutions
  • Strong knowledge and experience working with SAP ERP, Oracle, SAP BW, SAP BW4HANA, Native HANA, SQL Server and other application platforms.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in corporate systems domains from analytics perspective (Finance, Sales, Operations, Service & Quality, Planning and Supply Chain) using technologies such as SAP SAC, SAP BO, SAP BW, Power BI etc. in a multi-cloud setting
  • Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, database designs and data architecture
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate the complexities of technical programs.
  • Experience with big data technologies and advanced data analytics added plus.
  • Collaborative, team builder with strong communication/ interpersonal skills, ability to negotiate, often at higher levels
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
