Job Title/Role : Buyer

Grade : Band VI

Location : Bangalore

Reporting Manager:  HO General Procurement

Job Responsibilities: 

• Manage Procurement activities of one or several services, packages/suppliers, secure the contractual framework of suppliers with the Company and provide the best purchasing conditions for the Company.

• Contribute to the sourcing activity, manage the tendering and the contract negotiation to achieve the best purchasing conditions in accordance with in Company requirements (Internal - External).

• Monitor the contract (during innovation, development, serial and support phases) with suppliers and Company stakeholders to achieve throughout the contract life cycle a complete application of terms and conditions to ensure suppliers deliver expected performance in all dimensions (Logistics, support, quality, cost...).

• Manage the day to day relationships with suppliers and running projects to optimize customer value, while minimizing total cost of ownership & risks.

• Contribute to the Multifunctional/Multidivisional teams all along the tendering, contracting and contract life cycle phases.

• Skills : 

• 6 to 8+ years of working experience in Procurement / Sourcing.

• Engineering graduate with MBA Business School (preferable)

• Teamwork & Transparency

• Strong Adherence to Ethics & Compliance

• Highly effective communication & relationship building skills

• Customer focused and solution oriented, while putting Airbus Group overall interest first

• Ability to work in a multicultural environment
