Product Control - Pricing & Valuation Specialist
Location- Bangalore
Work mode- Hybrid
Shift- Night shift
1. Daily / Monthly P&L & NAV Oversight

• Review and validate daily and monthly P&L.
• Perform P&L attribution and explain key drivers.
• Reconcile front office P&L to official NAV.
• Investigate and resolve valuation discrepancies.

2. Pricing & Valuation Oversight

• Conduct Independent Price Verification (IPV) across asset classes.
• Challenge trader marks and ensure appropriate valuation methodologies are applied.
• Review broker quotes, consensus pricing services, and model valuations.
• Assess liquidity, valuation adjustments (reserves), and fair value hierarchy classifications.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS / US GAAP fair value standards (Level 1, 2, 3 assets).

3. Valuation Governance & Controls

• Maintain and enhance valuation policies and procedures.
• Support Valuation Committee reporting and documentation.
• Ensure appropriate valuation adjustments (bid-ask, liquidity, model risk).
• Monitor stale prices, illiquid positions, and hard-to-value securities.

4. Complex Instrument Coverage

• Oversee valuation of derivatives (options, swaps, futures, structured products).
• Review pricing models and inputs for OTC instruments.
• Coordinate with Risk for model validation and parameter reviews.

5. Stakeholder Management

• Liaise with Portfolio Managers and Traders regarding pricing challenges.
• Coordinate with Fund Administrators on NAV production.
• Support auditors during financial statement reviews.
• Provide reporting to senior management and investors as required.
