What would you do? Power System Engineer is a seasoned expert responsible for overseeing complex power system analyses, leading design efforts, and providing strategic direction for optimizing power grids. This role requires significant experience in power system engineering and a deeper understanding of the latest technologies, methodologies, and industry standards., will mentor junior engineers, lead high-impact projects, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the reliability and efficiency of power systems.
he individual will work closely with engineers and stakeholders to identify potential improvements and help design cost-effective solutions. This position requires an in-depth understanding of electrical systems, excellent analytical abilities, and an ability to work in a collaborative environment to ensure that power systems are efficient and reliable.
What are we looking for? Education: Proficient Electrical Engineer with experience around power system modelling and study. A Master’s degree in "Power System Engineering" is a plus.
• Technical Skills : Proficiency in power system analysis and simulation software (e.g., PSS/E, ETAP, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, MATLAB/Simulink, CYME).
Solid understanding of power system components and their operations, including generators, transformers, circuit breakers, relays, and protection devices.
Experience with load flow analysis, fault analysis, voltage stability, and other power system studies. SDS studies, connection offers management

Additional Skills : Knowledge of renewable energy integration and energy storage systems. Familiarity with SCADA systems and real-time monitoring of power systems.
Experience with advanced automation or grid optimization techniques.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze large sets of electrical system data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
Prepare detailed reports on power system performance, including recommendations for upgrades or modifications.
Present findings to senior engineers, managers, and clients.
Compliance and Standards: Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices for power system operations.
Stay updated on emerging technologies, standards, and regulations related to power systems.
Collaboration and Support: Work with cross-functional teams to solve engineering challenges and provide support for operational teams in the monitoring and maintenance of power systems. Provide troubleshooting expertise during system faults and operational issues. Assist in the development of new projects and improvements to existing infrastructure.
Roles and Responsibilities: •Avanced Power System Modeling and Simulation:
Lead the modeling and simulation efforts for large, complex power systems using advanced simulation tools (e.g., PSS/E, DIgSILENT, ETAP, MATLAB, CYME).
Conduct and oversee detailed dynamic system analysis, including transient stability, voltage stability, and interconnection studies.
Manage and optimize models for power grid expansion or upgrades.
Power Grid Analysis and Strategy:
Oversee and direct grid reliability analysis for large-scale transmission and distribution systems.
Lead risk assessment efforts, fault studies, and contingency planning to ensure system resilience and security.
Define and implement optimization strategies for grid performance, including enhancing integration with renewable energy and smart grid technologies.
System Design, Optimization, and Innovation:
Lead the design and implementation of innovative power system solutions, ensuring their feasibility, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
Develop strategies for improving system efficiency, reliability, and sustainability, particularly in integrating renewable energy and advanced energy storage systems.
Collaborate with senior leadership and clients on major system upgrades, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry trends.
