Job Description

CyberArk is seeking a highly motivated, dynamic, and results-driven Channel Sales Engineer – India to join our team. This role blends technical expertise with sales acumen, driving technical success throughout the sales cycle. As the primary technical resource for CyberArk’s Channels and Partners, you will enable and educate them, collaborating closely with the sales team and product management. Your main responsibility is to ensure technical excellence and advocate for CyberArk’s solutions, helping our partners to effectively position and deploy our products.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Articulating CyberArk’s technical value proposition to partners, ensuring alignment with business and technical goals.
  • Empowering CyberArk’s Channels and Partners by enhancing their technical skills and product knowledge.
  • Building and nurturing strong technical relationships within CyberArk’s partner ecosystem to uncover new sales opportunities.
  • Responding to functional and technical inquiries in RFIs/RFPs with clear and accurate information.
  • Leading and ensuring the success of customer proof-of-concept (POC) engagements.
  • Representing CyberArk at seminars, industry trade shows, and other partner-facing events.
  • Gathering and conveying partner feedback and requirements to the Product Management team.
  • Continuously developing and expanding your technical expertise on CyberArk’s solutions and associated technologies.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer or in a similar technical role, preferably in the cybersecurity or enterprise software space.
  • 2+ years of experience enabling Channels and Partners with the right technical skills and knowledge.
  • Expertise in Windows/Active Directory administration, Unix/Linux systems, and related technologies.
  • In-depth understanding of security concepts and the creation of security roles that satisfy both functional and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with CyberArk’s solutions is preferred, or similar experience in enterprise security, identity management, systems management, IAM, SIEM, or policy management solutions.
  • Strong presentation and demonstration skills, capable of presenting to both technical and executive audiences.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build relationships across organizational levels and drive collaborative solutions.
  • Business acumen to support partners in building and growing opportunities in alignment with sales objectives.
  • Operational knowledge of LDAP directories and authentication methods; familiarity with enterprise application authentication (e.g., .NET, Java, CLI) is a plus.
  • Scripting knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) is an advantage.
  • CISSP certification is preferred.
