Role Description
The Shared Application Service (SAS) division within TDI GTI is responsible for the development, implementation and operation of db-wide global application platforms and services. The focus is on the digitization and automation of processes, as well as the maximization of re-use.
With around 500 employees and a global positioning (GER, Bucharest, Pune), the teams work closely with the business and other TDI units in the agile process model.
Scope of the platforms covers a broad range of shared backbone functions. From central document management and workflow to optical character recognition (OCR) or Citizen Driven Development platforms – the portfolio of application areas is broad and have multi-layered themes.
In addition to classic technologies, AI technologies are increasingly being used in the further development of the overarching platforms - their development and deployment is coordinated together with DB Innovation Management unit.

Your key responsibilities
In our global tribe "Citizen Driven Development Tribe" we are looking for a new Product Owner for the Chabot and MS Power Application platforms with the following responsibilities:
- Develop the overarching product vision/strategy, delivery roadmap, product backlog and the realization of the agreed product outcomes.
- Being accountable for maximizing the value of the products delivered by the multidisciplinary agile team(s).
- Being the primary interface for the CIO and business stakeholders to coordinate the demand pipeline, select the delivery model and consult consumers with the onboarding process towards the platforms.
- Align scope and priorities to relevant strategic goals and requirements and balance platform and business requirements. Ensure an open two-way dialogue and alignment with stakeholders, users, other agile teams, control functions.
- Plan and realize platform innovations and new set of features, as well as consolidation/migration of scope from non-strategic platforms. Guide and shape the implementation and offering of AI technologies on the platforms.
- As a servant-leader, yo will enable their agile team to work in a self-directed way
Your skills and experience
General Skills
- Graduate Degree from university on financial services/business informatics, or comparable education.
- Excellent understanding of customer and user needs, business dynamics and banking/technology.
- Ability to think strategically and anticipate customer, user and stakeholder needs on a long-term basis, reflecting this in the product vision and ability to deliver incremental features mapped to the vision.
- Several years of experience in product management and an ability to handle complex project engagements/situations.
- You are characterized by a convincing and addressee-oriented communication style from team to senior management level in English and German (spoken and written)
- You convince with your strategic and entrepreneurial mindset as well as problem-solving skills while at the same time keeping a sense of proportion for what is feasible.
Domain specific Skills
- In-depth experience in CitDev, Low-Code/No-Code and Chatbot platforms as well as an affinity for AI projects (Examples: Kore.AI\Vertex AI, Gemini\ChatBots, GCP, MS Power
