Job Description:

The Client & Marketing Analytics Partner enables data-driven decision-making across Client and Marketing by defining reporting routines, generating actionable insights and translating analytics into business recommendations. The role reports directly to the Chief Client Experience and Marketing Officer, Asia, and works with regional, BU Client, Marketing and D&A teams on priority Client, Experience Design, Brand, Marketing Operations, Digital/Web Analytics and Performance Marketing initiatives.

The role anchors common KPI definitions, reporting quality, insight routines and analytics prioritization across Asia CX&M, Client, quality and marketing performance, including deepening client relationships, retention and loyalty, converting data platform and analytics outputs into recommendations, actions and value tracking.

The role requires strong brand, marketing, client behaviour and performance management understanding - not just dashboard-building. It will identify, design and help build AI-enabled analytics solutions, including agentic capabilities, that move beyond static reporting to deliver agile performance feedback, actionable insights, recommended next steps and measurable optimization for marketing and client teams.

It should also support next-best-action, next-best-message, next-best-ad and next-best-channel thinking, using data and AI to guide what to communicate, to whom, through which channel and with what expected business or client outcome.

Preferred skills

Business, Client & Marketing Analytics

  • Strong life insurance, client, brand and marketing knowledge, with experience in performance, digital marketing or client analytics preferred

  • Familiarity with full-funnel lead generation measurement, from awareness and consideration through Online-to-Offline conversion, connecting survey measures, search trends, traffic quality, lead quality and conversion outcomes

  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to synthesize data into insights and identify data gaps or roadblocks where system access is limited

  • Proficiency with data visualization, dashboards and business intelligence tools, preferably Tableau and/or Power BI, to design reporting that drives usage and action
     

Business Translation & Stakeholder Skills

  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and bridge technical terminology with business outcomes

  • Comfortable working through ambiguity, complex data issues and unstructured business problems

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a T-shaped profile across marketing, client, data, analytics, technology and operations
     

Marketing Intelligence, Data Sources & Automation

  • Working knowledge of marketing intelligence, data connector and integration platforms, APIs and ad platform data sources, including 3rd party marketing data integration tools such as Supermetrics, Windsor.ai or similar

  • Knowledge of CRM platforms such as Salesforce and Online-to-Offline lead journeys, including lead capture, advisor follow-up, pipeline management and conversion tracking

  • Familiarity with a range of MarTech, web analytics, survey, ad platforms and social listening tools, including Adobe Experience Cloud (specifically Adobe Analytics, Marketo, Adobe Target), Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, Microsoft Ads, Qualtrics and Sprinklr where relevant
     

AI, Advanced Analytics & Workflow Enablement

  • Working understanding of AI-enabled analytics, agentic AI flows and workflow automation for reporting, insight generation, recommendations and follow-through tracking

  • Applied understanding of advanced analytics, modeling and AI concepts related to insurance, segmentation, Client 360, data capture and reporting, journeys and marketing performance optimization
     

Technical Foundation

  • Knowledge of data warehousing, data lakes, ETL and cloud-based data platform concepts, with exposure to AWS, Azure or Linux an advantage

  • Understanding of SQL, Python or VBA for analytics and automation is an advantage

  • Advanced Excel and spreadsheet skills

  • Ability to bring together stakeholders across Asia and create structured insights from unstructured inputs

  • Strong quantitative mindset, analytical curiosity and practical business problem-solving

Qualifications

  • 8-10+ years of experience in analytics, client/customer analytics, marketing analytics, performance management, business intelligence or a related discipline; at least 5 years in client and marketing reporting or analytics preferred

  • Experience in insurance, financial services, consulting or another data-rich regulated industry preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in statistics, actuarial science, mathematics, data science, computer science, economics or a related field

  • Regional or multi-country experience across Asia preferred

  • Experience partnering with brand and marketing teams to interpret performance data, identify implications for media, messaging, targeting, client journeys and campaign optimization, and convert reporting into practical business actions

  • Experience designing or shaping AI-enabled analytics solutions, including agentic or workflow-based tools, that help users diagnose performance issues, generate recommended actions and track follow-through

  • Strong problem-solving experience in complex, ambiguous environments, with the ability to frame business questions, diagnose root causes, influence stakeholders and prioritize insight work based on commercial and client impact

  • Demonstrated experience building or operationalizing next-best-action, next-best-message, next-best-ad or next-best-channel capabilities, including translating customer, campaign and behavioral data into targeted communication and activation strategies


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with regional leaders across Client & Marketing, Brand, Operations, Distribution and Finance to understand priorities, challenges and insight needs. Translate these into dashboards, analytics initiatives and insight solutions that support agile performance feedback and drive clear actions to improve brand, marketing and client outcomes across Asia

  • Ensure reporting data is accurate, reliable and governed. Partner with Marketing Operations and Performance, D&A and BI teams to evaluate data sources, APIs, connectors, brand awareness, CRM and lead funnel data, and integration solutions that improve accessibility, reduce manual effort and enable scalable reporting

  • Partner with Regional Data Transformation, BI, AI and local D&A teams to translate Client and Marketing priorities into analytics, reporting automation and AI-enabled workflow solutions. Identify and shape agentic AI and automation opportunities that reduce manual effort and improve decision support across priority markets

  • Provide proactive ad-hoc and deep-dive analysis for regional leaders, applying brand, marketing performance, client behavior and AI-enabled analytics to surface risks, opportunities and recommendations faster, moving teams from insight to decision, test-and-learn optimization and execution, including Online-to-Offline lead funnel, pipeline and conversion insights where relevant

  • Support next-best-action, message, ad and channel use cases by translating insight into practical targeting, messaging, media and communication decisions
