Cloud Backend Developer (full stack) Staff
As a Staff Cloud Backend Developer (Full Stack), you will work with a multidisciplinary team of talented developers to develop the architecture and services of a modern web software (including 2D and 3D views, asset management, and photo/video media library) for one of our visual inspection products. You will play a key technical role, bringing your expertise in cloud architecture and infrastructure, distributed system design, programming, and complex problem-solving, while being a role model for team members.
In collaboration with the development team, your main responsibility will be the design and implementation of architecture on Azure and the development of backend services in C# (.NET), with participation in the frontend development of the web application (Angular 17+ and TypeScript) being an asset. You must be involved, proactive, resourceful, and meticulous. You must pay rigorous attention to detail and spontaneously set high quality standards for yourself, in addition to adapting to changing situations. Mastery of the Azure environment, C#, and .NET, as well as knowledge of frontend web development, are required.
Your Responsibilities:
- Actively collaborate on the definition and implementation of cross-platform web software for product development.
- Work with the following Backend technologies: SQL, .NET 8, Entity Framework, Azure, Azure Blob Storage.
- Work with the following Frontend technologies: HTML, SCSS, TypeScript, Angular 17+, RxJS, Electron.
- Work with the following Cloud infrastructure technologies: Terraform, Kubernetes.
- Design and develop APIs and microservices.
- Implement DevOps and CI/CD best practices.
- Participate in coding requirements in collaboration with other developers.
- Ensure quality control of integrated content, its adaptive and cross-platform compliance via automated tests.
- Provide technical support to team members by resolving complex issues, offering advice, and sharing best practices.
Job Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related program.
- Advanced level in C#, .NET 8+.
- Intermediate level in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, SCSS, and Angular 14+.
- Knowledge of Azure, its resources, and microservices architecture, required.
- Knowledge of databases, required.
- Knowledge of Electron and Ionic, an asset.
- General knowledge of CI/CD.
- Knowledge of one or more unit testing frameworks, an asset.
- Knowledge of JIRA, GitLab, and GIT.
- Advanced English, to collaborate with international stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies, best practices, and quality standards.
- Aptitude for resolving complex technical problems and taking informed decisions quickly and efficiently.
- A passion for technology, with constant monitoring of industry trends, new development practices, and new emerging technologies.
