Cloud Developer (Vmware)
This role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2-3 days per week from an HPE office.

Job Description:
In the HPE Hybrid Cloud, we lead the innovation agenda and technology roadmap for all of HPE. This includes managing the design, development, and product portfolio of our next-generation cloud platform, Green Lake. Working with customers, we help them reimagine their information technology needs to deliver a simple, consumable solution that helps them drive their business results. What you’ll do:
Expertise in Virtualization stack (VMWARE) :
• VMware tools and Technologies (ESXi , vCenter, VSphere, OV4VC)
• Expertise in NSXT concepts and automation.
• Virtualization of Compute, Storage and Network.
• Knowledge of the functioning of switches.
• Hands on experience in scripting using Terraform and Python.
Other Responsibilities / Deliverables
• Design, develop and document medium complex solutions on VMWare stack.
• Excellent automation skills. Build automation tools for deploying complex solutions using Python
• Review/evaluate designs and project activities for compliance with systems design and development guidelines and standards.
• Provide tangible feedback to improve product quality and mitigate failure risk.
• Drive innovation and integration of new technologies into projects and activities in the software systems design organization.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge on Agile development practices. Should have good knowledge on usage of Jira and Rally.
• Experience with developing tools to automate deployment of medium to complex solutions using Python
• Experience with enterprise storage and networking infrastructure.
• Evaluating forms and processes for software systems testing and methodology, including writing and execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at senior management levels.
• Good Collaboration skills and a good team player
What you need to bring:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 to 6 years of applicable work experience.
• VMware tools and Technologies (ESXi , vCenter, VSphere, OV4VC)

• Virtualization of Compute, Storage and Network.
• Knowledge of the functioning of switches.
