Job Description
Work Experience:
- 10-12 years of Experience in Infrastructure Management Services (Cloud Infra)
- Strong expertise in GCP services (i.e. Cloud Services Platform, Google Kubernetes Engine, Compute Engine, VPN, Cloud Interconnect etc..)·
- Knowledge of Security, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Key Management, Access Controls and Security Protocols, Network routing, Firewalls, ACL's, cloud IaaS components on GCP· Develop enterprise cloud guidelines and automation.
- Design and Implement IaaS and PaaS solutions.
- Automate provisioning of networks and access (Organization, Routes/Firewalls, IAM, Policy)
- Develop architecture strategies for cloud computing, including cloud-native applications, hybrid cloud setups, and cloud migrations.
- Create cloud architecture frameworks and best practices for governance, security, compliance, and performance optimization.
Mandatory Skills:
- Design and implement scalable and secure solutions on GCP.
- Deep knowledge of GCP services: Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL, VPC, IAM, etc.
- Strong understanding of cloud networking (VPC, subnetting, peering, load balancing, firewalls).
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Deployment Manager, etc.).
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with cloud security best practices, encryption, and regulatory compliance (GDPR, HIPAA).
- Understanding of network security design including segmentation, encryption, logging and monitoring.
- Implementation experience with identity management and networking segmentation in GCP across multiple VPC networks and multiple projects·
- Experience leading large-scale application and network migrations to GCP (i.e. Cloud Load Balancing, DNS, Interconnect, CDN,GKE, Networking, Storage, DR, Security, Monitoring, etc.)·
- Experience with establishing technical strategy and architecture at an enterprise level.
- Experience in scalable networking design including high availability, redundancy, fail-over and load balancing.
- Hands-on experience with one or more third-party networking products.
- Understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP/S etc.
- Understanding network topologies, load balancing and segmentation· Assessment and demonstration of new technologies; capacity planning; performance tuning·
- Experience leading GCP Cloud project delivery, i.e. responsible for: Project deliverables, Technical and architecture oversight, Project delivery approach.
- Delivery performance - working with delivery and Project Management teams.

- Provide GCP technical expertise for POCs, drafting RFP responses, SOW creation etc.· Support Pre-sales life cycle and consulting engagement process.
- Lead the design of multi-tier cloud architectures (compute, networking, security, storage).
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Deployment Manager for automated provisioning.
- Integrate CI/CD pipelines for automating deployments, testing, and monitoring.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud solutions.
- Optimize cloud usage to minimize costs, improve resource efficiency, and forecast usage trends.
- Proficient Cloud adviser to customers and solve complex Cloud Infrastructure and Networking challenges.
- Lead requirements gathering, analysis and solution development for GCP cloud-based solutions.
- Architect, design and implement plans for deploying complex application workloads on GCP· Architect highly available, backup, and disaster recovery solutions in GCP
- Collaborate with project teams, functional architects, systems specialists, and other technical resources to develop customer solutions.
- Lead Cloud projects in a hands-on role driving GCP cloud migration/adoption from inception to production.
- Designing DevOps solutions in GCP Cloud.
- Designing & Implementing Generative-AI related Solutions in GCP Cloud.
- Mentor and provide technical oversight and guidance to implementation teams while working in a coordinated manner to deliver and deploy the designed architecture.
- Provide GCP technical expertise for POCs, drafting RFP responses, SOW creation etc.· Support Pre-sales life cycle and consulting engagement process.
- Provide Cloud thought leadership through publications and speaking engagements as needed. · Create reference architectures, pre-sales, and technical collaterals.
- Be part of Center of excellence for Cloud team to participate in next generation initiatives.
