  • Contributes to and helps to implement a global learning & development approach to continuous learning, upskilling and reskilling to help build and maintain a strong delivery, development and support workforce for Unisys.
  • Partners with BU leaders to identify their current and future learning and development needs and requirements
  • Partners with BU leaders and/or subject matter experts to design, develop and implement learning strategies that align with BU goals and create plans to deliver the needed learning solutions
  • Identifies the learning assets required to meet the learning/development needs identified and, when necessary, partner with BU leaders and UU course developers to design and develop learning assets to meet those needs
  • Designs and/or curates curricula for custom Percipio Channels and Journeys in support of the BU learning needs
  • Designs and/or develops courseware using software/tools used by UU team members for internal BU audience(s)
  • Meets with leaders on a regular basis to stay ahead of needs
  • Partners with members of the HR, Workforce Management and other talent teams to anticipate future learning needs and address current ones.
  • Provides reports, as necessary, on learner activity – internal and external – to BU leaders
  • Assists with logistics, marketing and facilitation of BU sponsored learning events
  • Manages the UU external spending in support of the BU assigned including reviewing the external learning requests submitted in support of the BU learning needs
  • Manages partnerships with external vendors necessary to meet BU learning needs
  • Collaborates with the UU team on ad hoc projects including process discussions, course development and content review

You will be successful in this role if you have:

• Undergraduate college degree or equivalent is required 
• Typically requires a minimum of 6 years of related experience
• Professional certification and/or Master’s Degree are desirable
• Provides business solutions within defined guidelines and can manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Interpersonal skills including listening, collaboration, teamwork, dealing with different personalities and conflict resolution
  • Strong communication skills (both spoken and written)
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt learning strategies to align with organizational needs.
  • Business Acumen skills needed to manage the external learning spend for the BU’s supported
  • Facilitation skills for meetings, learning sessions, brainstorming, etc.
  • Critical thinking skills; present and forward thinking/anticipation
  • Understanding and implementation of adult learning principles (and how this has changed and will continue to change over time)
  • Presentation skills: Ability to design, build, host and facilitate presentations and/or webcasts
  • Understanding of MS Office applications including MS Teams
  • Instructional design skills or, at a minimum, an understanding of the software/tools used by UU to create and deliver learning content (including Camtasia, Articulate Storyline, Natural Reader, Maestra and Vyond)
  • Video & graphic editing skills
  • Other skills as defined in the Required and Optional Skills section
