Tradeweb is seeking a Corporate Accountant to join the Global Accounting team, based in Bengaluru, India. The candidate will support Tradeweb’s accounting operations across multiple global entities and collaborate closely with finance teams in New York and London.
This role will be integral to the monthly close process — managing operating expense accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed asset accounting, and balance sheet reconciliations — while contributing to process improvements and automation initiatives across regions.
- Month-End Close and Reporting:
Support the monthly and quarterly financial close by preparing and reviewing journal entries, expense accruals, and prepaid amortizations.
Perform P&L and balance sheet variance analyses and provide explanations to global accounting leadership.
- Fixed Assets Accounting:
Manage capitalization, depreciation, and retirement of fixed assets in accordance with U.S. GAAP and Tradeweb policies.
Review capital expenditure accounts and ensure accurate classification and documentation.
- Collaboration and Audit Support:
Work closely with the Global Accounts Payable and Accounting teams in New York and London.
Prepare audit schedules and support internal and external audit requests.
- Controls and Compliance:
Execute accounting controls in line with SOX requirements and maintain supporting documentation.
- Process Improvement:
Participate in global accounting transformation initiatives, including automation and reporting enhancements using tools such as Alteryx and Tableau.
- Ad Hoc and Reporting Support:
Assist with quarterly disclosures and provide ad-hoc analysis or support for business partner queries.
QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
Experience: 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a multinational or shared service environment.
Certifications: Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, or equivalent certification preferred but not mandatory.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and corporate accounting principles.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) and experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Concur).
- Familiarity with automation and data analytics tools such as Alteryx and Tableau is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaboration across global teams.
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to manage tight deadlines.
