Job Title: Credit Risk Manager

Location: Bangalore

Business & Team: Retail Operation & VERO Team

Impact & contribution:

Credit analysis, decisioning, verification, monitoring throughout the credit lifecycle; the development of credit policy; or the implementation of credit strategies, including problem asset strategies; across the retail business

Reporting lines: Reporting to Senior Manager

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyse home loan applications against credit limits and frameworks.
  • Apply your knowledge of Australian home loan lending processes and regulations.
  • Coach new team members, review application for quality, do workshopping and floor support.
  • Identify opportunities to improve work rate and quality for the team.
  • Support in policy changes and improve overall customer experience.
  • Support credit risk management initiatives by working with management teams.
  • Utilize data analysis tools and techniques to assess and manage credit risks associated with home loan applications.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team environment to meet deadlines.
  • Communicate credit risk analysis results clearly and concisely.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of credit risk assessment tools and processes.
  • Participates in monitoring credit risk to ensure that they are within limit thresholds.
  • Applies knowledge of retail and corporate lending. Understands strategies and policies for the management of credit risk across the credit lifecycle.
  • Assists in developing action plans to resolve issues. Re-designs processes to better manage, measure, and monitor credit risks.
    Uses technology-based tools and performs data analysis to monitor, measure, and manage credit risks.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools.
  • Working knowledge of Australian home loan lending principles and regulations
  • Minimum of 8 – 10 years' experience in a related credit risk analysis or verification role.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
